Higher Education
The federal government is the single largest source of research funding and student financial aid to universities and colleges.
Washington Strategic Consulting works with institutions of higher education to:
- Secure federal funding through appropriations and the competitive grant process for a wide array of activities including academic programs; facilities construction and rehabilitation; scientific research; community outreach and intermodal transportation.
- Create and maintain productive relationships with Members of Congress and staff as well as the federal agencies with jurisdiction over higher education policy to anticipate and influence their decisions.
- Facilitate collaboration with the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy and other departments that fund research at academic institutions.
